What is adult circumcision?

Circumcision is a procedure where the excess foreskin is removed from the penis. Circumcision will leave the glans penis (head of the penis) exposed permanently.

Circumcision aids in the prevention of Balanitis, Phimosis, Paraphimosis and reduces the risk of contracting HIV/ STD and urinary tract infection (UTI).

We are Open on weekends too.

The surgical cost for circumcision is $1,962.00, which includes your follow-up review.

Adult Circumcision – What You Need To Know

FAQs

How is the surgery performed?

We perform the surgery using a sutureless technique. It takes 10-15 mins to perform. With this technique, the wound remains protected and does not tear or bleed, unlike the traditional circumcision methods.

Is adult circumcision painful?

The procedure is painless. It is done under local anaesthesia. No injections are required. The numbing cream will take 30 mins to an hour to take effect. After which you will not feel any pain during the procedure. You may experience some discomfort for the first few days after the procedure from nocturnal erections.

What happens after the surgery?

Right after the circumcision procedure, you are able to walk normally. You are able to head right back to work or continue on with your daily activities. There’s no need for hospitalization. You are, however, advised to only start exercising 4-6 weeks after the procedure.

Can I urinate normally?

Yes, you can. The procedure does not affect your ability to pass urine. In fact, for some patients with severe phimosis, you may be able to pass urine more easily after the procedure. You can also shower normally.
