Dr. Jonathan Chong
Dr. Jonathan Chong received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore and underwent further postgraduate training with the Internal Medicine Residency Programme in several tertiary and community hospitals across Singapore.
During his training, Dr. Chong acquired experience across a wide range of specialty and subspeciality disciplines, including Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Renal Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery. He also has a keen interest in Family Medicine, having worked in one of Singapore’s busiest Polyclinics, where he gained invaluable experience across all aspects of primary care. As a recognition of his exemplary contributions and service, Dr. Chong was awarded the National University Polyclinic Star Award in 2018.
Dr. Chong has a distinguished academic record, having garnered several accolades throughout his career including the Gordon Arthur Ransome Prize in Internal Medicine and the Merchant Medal and Prize in Geriatric Medicine. He is also a Member of the College of Family Physicians (Singapore) and is currently pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK).
Dr. Chong’s special interests are in Men’s Health, Venereology (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and Chronic Disease Management. He is a strong proponent of a holistic, patient-centric approach, and believes that every patient should receive individualised care that is tailored to their specific needs.
