Dr Tan Wei Jie graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Adelaide in South Australia in 2018. Upon graduation, Dr Tan moved back to Singapore to continue his medical practice and underwent further postgraduate training in SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency Programme. 

During his internal medicine training, he has worked in various specialty and subspecialty departments including Renal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Palliative Care, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology and Emergency Medicine, amongst many others. Thoroughout his career, Dr Tan has received many distinguished awards including the Resthaven (South Australia) Palliative Medicine Prize in 2018 and Best Knowledge Award in Renal Medicine in 2021. 

Dr Tan’s special interest lies in Sexually Transmitted Infections and Andrology. He believes in empowering patients through engaging them in effective communication and education about their medical conditions. He strives to make patients feel at ease and be able to communicate their concerns in a safe environment, in the hopes of providing the best care possible.
