  • Testing accuracy after medication

Dear Dr. Tan and other doctors,

I had completed a 28-day full course of PEP 15 months ago and tested negative on combo tests at six and 12 months from the exposure.

However, recently, I had a new sexual exposure. I was wondering whether the PEP taken 15 months ago would possibly affect or delay the new exposure's window period.

Whether the PEP 15 months ago would possibly stay in my system oppressing virus replication, if infected, and thus affect the accuracy of the tests to be taken afterwards?

    Thank you!

There is no medical evidence for this to be true
