HIV Testing, Preventive Treatment and Management & Care

Dr Tan & Partners (DTAP) is a group of HIV Clinic certified for HIV Testing, HIV treatment and management service for local and foreign partners.

We also provide HIV preventive treatment, such as Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) & Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in all our clinics in Singapore.

Anonymous HIV Testing

Anonymous HIV Testing is available in our Robertson Branch 7 days a week (except public holidays).

Dr Tan & Partners @Robertson is Ministry of Health approved Anonymous HIV test site to conduct

HIV testing without patient providing their personal information such as NRIC numbers or passport numbers, contact detail during registration.

HIV Testing and Screening

Different HIV tests have different HIV testing window periods, as different HIV tests detect different indicators of HIV during the HIV development cycle.

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) HIV RNA/DNA TEST or HIV Viral Test can detect HIV in the human body as early as 10 days after HIV exposure. Early HIV test is available in all our clinics.

Other HIV tests such as 4th generation HIV Test (Rapid Finger prick HIV P24 Antigen/Antibody Combo), Rapid Oral Saliva HIV-1/2 Antibody Test and Rapid Fingerprick Blood HIV-1/2 Antibody Test are also available in all our clinics. HIV test result is available in 20 mins.

HIV PrEP is an HIV preventive treatment that uses anti-HIV medications to keep HIV negative people from becoming infected.

HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (HIV PEP)

No HIV testing is available to detect HIV from 1 to 10 days after exposure. However, with HIV PEP or HIV Post exposure Prophylaxis, you can reduce or prevent HIV infection within 72 hours after HIV exposure.

HIV Treatment (HAART)

HIV treatment and management consists of taking a set of correct HIV medication to slow the progression of the virus, monitoring for and treating any opportunistic infections, and taking care of the patient’s general health and well being. HIV treatment is available in our Novena Branch
