BENEFITS OF CIRCUMCISION

There are several methods normally performed for adults.

Here at our clinics, we utilize two methods: Shang Ring method and the Stapler Method

Shang Ring Method

Under local anaesthesia, the Shang Ring will be inserted in the foreskin. The outer clamp is then applied externally. The foreskin above the ring is then removed using surgical scissors.

The ring will be left in place for 10-14  days. The patient will then come back to the clinic for removal of the ring. The Shang Ring method is considered one of the safest methods of circumcision by many medical professionals worldwide.

The procedure is painless. It is done under local anaesthesia using numbing cream only.

No injections are required. The numbing cream will take 30 mins to 1 hour to take effect.

After which you will not feel any pain during the procedure.

You may experience some discomfort for the first few days after the procedure from nocturnal erections.

It is a circumcision device that shortens the procedure duration down to 5 minutes only instead of the usual 45 minutes or 1 hour via conventional circumcision methods.

Yes, you can. The procedure does not affect your ability to pass urine. In fact, for some patients with severe phimosis, you may be able to pass urine more easily after the procedure. You can also shower normally.

Like any surgical procedures, circumcision also comes with its own risks.

Right after the circumcision procedure, you are able to walk normally. There’s no need for hospitalization. You are however advised only to start exercise 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
