We conduct STD Treatment in a discreet, private and hygiene environment for all our patients. Our male and female doctors are experienced and professional in treating our patient with STD and HIV related cases.

Dr. Tan & Partners is a group of licensed STD clinics for local and foreign patients in Singapore. We follow latest international guidelines and protocols on treating and testing STD and HIV management.

All our STD clinics do not reused disposable equipments. All STD treatments provided are conducted strictly by fully certified and specially trained female and male doctors on STD.

Equipments used in our STD clinic are autoclaved and sterilised. We do not reused disposables on the same patient let alone another one other patients.

What is a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)?

STD is a group of diseases that is transmitted sexually by certain viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasite during unprotected oral, anal and virginal sexual intercourses.

Some sexually transmitted diseases can be transmitted via close skin to skin contact, or exposed open tissues to STD infected wounds. Untreated STD will lead to long-terms complications, and some time transmitted from mother to child.

  • Herpes Simplex Virus

STDs caused by Bacteria Infection:

  • Chlamydia

STDs caused by Parasitic infection:

  • Trichomoniasis
  • Scabies
  • Pubic Lice

STDs caused by Fungal infection

  • Candidiasis

What are the common STD Signs and Symptoms?

Not all STDs will display signs and symptoms. Some STDs have identical signs and symptoms, such as abnormal vaginal and penile discharge, genital itch, genital rashes, genital blister and sore, swelling lymph nodes.

It is important to visit an experienced doctor for physical examination. He or she can also recommend the right STD testing to find out the underlying causes on the sign and symptoms display below.

Some of the common STD symptoms can be classified as follows:

Urinary STD symptoms in Men

  • Pain or discomfort when passing urine
  • Abnormal discharge at the tips of penis
  • Pain or discomfort in the testis

Urinary STD symptoms in Women

  • Pain or discomfort when passing urine
  • Bleeding during periods
  • Abnormal vaginal discharge

Sexual STD symptoms such as Pain during sex and Bleeding after sex may appear in some women.

Skin STD symptoms

  • Itchiness on body, groin, genital & anal area and other body area
  • Ulcers on penis, genital area and other areas
  • Cauliflower-like growth on penis and other area
  • Lumps on skin
  • Blisters or Sores on genital, mouth and other areas
  • Rashes on the body, genital, foot and palms and other area
